 Disinfection and cleaning team leader
 

Job objectives

  • Cleaning and disinfecting assigned sites in accordance with sanitary/health rules while respecting the internal procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Ensuring that pharmaceutical products are manufactured, packaged and stored in a highest quality environment according to GMP's, Quality Policy and internal procedures;
  • Ensuring the department daily operational efficiency allowing the remaining departments to achieve their own objectives and priorities and meet established schedules.
  • Assisting the disinfection and cleaning supervisor or his delegate in charge of the overall cleanliness of the Omega Laboratories Ltd buildings.

Primary functions

  • Open and close buildings, including alarms;
  • Assist the disinfection and cleaning supervisor or his delegate in planning the department daily tasks,
  • Manage the inventory of cleaning products and equipment used for routine housekeeping
  • Substitute the Supervisor in issuing transfer requisitions for products and equipment replacement and submitting purchase requests,
  • In charge of disinfecting and cleaning the A, B, C and D classified areas and public zones as planned/scheduled;
  • Ensure during the evening-shift the continuation of sterilization and depyrogenisation cycles launched early by Production department;
  • Check sterilization cycles released during the evening shift;
  • If necessary collect and sample purified and/or injection water according to the production schedule from pharma division and oncology,
  • Make easy the transition between day and evening shifts in collaboration with Production Supervisors from Pharma Division and Oncology;
  • Inspect water and steam systems during the evening-shift;
  • Ensure that necessary corrective actions are undertaken during specific environmental controls;
  • Assist the disinfection and cleaning supervisor or his delegate in training to have employees multi-tasked and their aptitude directed towards continuous improvement and GMPs compliance;
  • Perform other tasks as part of the overall functioning of the department

Academic training

  • High School V or equivalent
